Customize your blog

To customize your blog's appereance you can change the blog's template or the blog's background.

- To change your template you can use the ones provided by blogger.com or you can download one from Btemplates, Blogger-templates, Freetemplates, or you can google "your subject+ blog template" (ex: music blog template) etc... Then, when you find the template you want, you download it. It will download as a ZIP file:

Then you right-clic the file and select "Extract here". When you have the template folder you'll find an XML file:


 

 

Open your blog's dashboard clic "Layout" and go to "Edit HTML". There you have to check the "Expand Wiidgets", and then go to the top box (the one of Backup/Restore template) and browse the file XML template file. When you are done, clic on upload.
P.S: Sometimes, after you upload your XML file a warning is shown. Just clic on "Keep Widgets".

-Some pages don't have the XML file to download, instead, they have the HTML (text) to copy. In that case just copy the HTML, enter "Layout", "Edit HTML" and paste it there:

- Now, to change the blog's background:

Search for an image on google and coppy its URL (adress). Then go to your dashboard, go to "Layout" and then to "Edit HTML". Search in the HTML for the patr that says "body" and below it "background". There you'll find the adress of the background you want to change. Erase that old URL (without erasing the brackets nor anything outside of them) and paste the one of the new image there:
